Inspection, Monitoring, and Certification

The Saudi Energy Efficiency Center works with several government agencies, such as the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Saudi Standards Organization, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and the National Center for Environmental Compliance Control, to ensure that products comply with energy efficiency standards، The scope of work includes ensuring that products in local markets, warehouses, factories, and customs ports comply with these standards. It also includes dealing with non-conforming products and recycling them in accordance with the laws, and developing systems to improve the efficiency of inspection and monitoring operations.
